Conditions

You can add multiple variations of the text to the template. The text will be displayed in the document depending on the conditions that the user chooses.

For example, you can reflect in the agreement the procedure and terms of payment, depending on the method of payment. You don’t need to create several separate templates for this. It is enough to add condition. When drawing up a contract, the user only needs to answer the question about the method of payment.

General scheme of working with conditions:
  1. Add all the variations of the text to the template.

  2. Highlight one option > Add a question > Add an answer to display this option.

  3. Highlight the next option > Select a question > Add an answer to display this option.

  4. Publish the template.

The user who forms the document will see the question in the sidebar and answer it. Depending on the answer, one or another text will be displayed.

  1. Questions can be:

    • Yes / no type

    • Single choice

    • Multiple choice

The same fragment can be displayed when answering different questions.

A fragment can contain text, images, tables, fields, other conditions, typical blocks, etc. You can even impose conditions on headers and footers.

To add a condition:
  1. Add to the template all variations of the text (images, tables, etc.) that may appear in the document under various circumstances.

  2. Select the fragment. To create a condition for a table row, position the cursor to the right or left of the selected row and click with the left mouse button.

  3. The Add condition button appears to the right of the document. Click the button.

  4. A form for adding a condition is displayed on the sidebar. In the Title field, type in a question about the selected text. In the Answer field - the answer to it, when selected, the selected fragment will appear in the document.

  5. Repeat for each of the options that appear in the document under certain conditions.

Display conditions can be set for any part: paragraph, sentence, word, table, table row, and so on.

How to add a hint to a condition

You can add a hint or clarification to the condition for the user.

To add a hint:
  1. Open the Questions tab in the sidebar.

  2. Select a question from the list and click the Menu button.

  3. Select Edit.

  4. Enter your hint text in the Hint field and click outside the input field.

To edit the question text:
  1. Open the Questions tab in the sidebar.

  2. Select a question from the list and click the Menu button.

  3. Select Rename.

  4. Enter a new question text and press the Enter key.

How to create a multiple choice condition

So that the user, when composing a document, can choose several answers to the question:
  1. Open the Questions tab in the sidebar.

  2. Select a question from the list and click the Menu button.

  3. Select Enable Multiple Choice.

  4. Check the answers that match those template fragments that should appear in the document.

Changes will be saved automatically.

To turn off the option to select multiple answer options:
  1. Open the Questions tab in the sidebar.

  2. Select a question from the list and click the Menu button.

  3. Select Disable Multiple Selection.

The question will only allow one answer.

How to create an additional condition inside another condition

To create a display condition with an additional condition in the text:
  1. add a variant of the text to the document that is the root condition

  2. include all variants of the enclosed condition text.

To do this:
  1. Select a fragment of the template with a variant of the text of the root condition.

  2. Click the Add condition button.

  3. A form for adding a condition will be displayed on the sidebar. In the Title field, enter a question about the selected text. In the Answer field - the answer to it, when selected, a fragment of the template with the text of the root condition will appear in the document.

  4. The root condition is set. Now select the section of the template with the variant text, which is the nested condition.

  5. Set a display condition for it similar to the root condition. The nested condition text will be highlighted in a darker color relative to its root condition.

Repeat for each nested condition.

Warning
The bounds of a nested condition cannot go beyond the root.

When the document is created, nested conditions are visible in the questionnaire only if the user has selected an answer to the root condition question that displays its text.

Dependency between conditions of one fragment

If more than one condition is applied to one piece of text, there may be one of the logical operators between them:

  • "And" - the text will appear in the document only if all the conditions imposed on this text are met (all questions of the conditions are answered accordingly);

  • "OR" - the text will appear if at least one of the conditions is met (an appropriate answer is given to one of the questions.

By default, the AND operator is used for all conditions, which means that the text appears in the document only when all conditions are met. The button AND is displayed in the header of the conditions.

To change the logical operator, press the AND button in the condition header. The logical operator will change to OR for all conditions.

Delete condition

To delete a condition:
  1. Open the Questions tab in the sidebar.

  2. Select a question from the list and click Menu button.

  3. Select Delete.

To delete, you can also click in the area of ​​the fragment with the superimposed condition and select the Delete item in the sidebar.
