Adding entry fields in Microsoft Word

Make sure that you have installed the Doc.one plugin for Microsoft Word. Once you have done so, go ahead and open the template you want to edit.

  1. To add a template field, select the text fragment where the data should be entered when creating the document.
  2. Open the Doc.one tab in the toolbar.
  3. Click the Add Field button to the right of the document.
  4. Enter title in the right-hand board.
  5. Choose a field type from the Type drop-down list
    Text
    Number
    Date
  6. If this field is mandatory, put a check in the Required field.
  7. Click the Save button in the lower right corner.

 

Deleting entry fields in Microsoft Word

  1. To delete a template field, select the text fragment where the data should be entered when creating the document.
  2. Open the Doc.one tab in the toolbar.
  3. Click the Show Dictionary icon.
  4. In the Doc.one Dictionary board click the Edit button near the field you want to delete.
  5. In the opened Doc.one Editor board click the Delete button.
  6. Acknowledge the action.
